5 tennis Drills

To improve your skills 5 drills

Racket Drills for Solo Training

Racket drills are those that help you improve your racket control and condition your arms not to mention your hand eye racket coordination and can be practiced without a court often only needing a flat surface.  You do these by yourself.

Check out my book Racket Drills for Tennis if you want a more complete understanding of racket drills.

Traditional Tennis Drills On Court

On Court drills often require a partner or a ball machine unless you self feed the ball.  Controlling the ball down the alley is an excellent way to learn to confine your targets to a small area on a straight line and thus you can learn precise directional control.

The International book of Tennis Drills is a good place to start.  If you have access to Kindle Unlimited you might check it out there.  Also, it has been in print for a while so you can get a much less expensive used copy that will do the job well.  Often you'll find that once you read a tennis drill book and learn the drills that you'll never go back to the book so I wouldn't spend a lot of money on a shelf sitter.
