Novak seems always on balance no matter how far he's stretched. His footwork is invisible through efficiency rather than polished and artistic like Fed.

 Both work well but for the long term strive for efficiency.

What has happened to American Men's Professional Tennis

Everything goes in cycles. The USA had its turn for a long time. Australia had a great run. and probably will again. Eastern and Southern Europe is strong right now while Western Europe is about to lose the Swiss footprint after Fed retires and odds are we won't see another top Swiss player for a generation. I'm waiting for Asia to fill the ranks. When it comes to tennis, I dont see flags especially when it comes to favorite players. Right now, I lean Serbian. Coaching, and education here in the USA can only produce top results from committed students. We have too many distractions which is one of the curses of an easy life and wealth.

Why some don't like Novak Djokovic

This writer is honest about why he doesn't like Novak but admits that he is probably the best ever. To me, it's a matter of style preference where most people choose their favorite players I learned to appreciate his talents which to me are based on his total commitment to being a Champion. Where some see his game as boring and playing it safe I see the precision and mental discipline required. Calling him cold belies his resilience when all is against him on the court. He has staying power.

I'm a Novak fan, but also a Fed, and Rafa fan. I'm a tennis fan and want to cheer on the best players and I think that Med wasn't given fair placement for court assignments along with others. The ATP made ranking changes last year for Covid was a legacy ranking benefit for Fed that kept him in the top 10 even though he hadn't played for a year. Now Wimbledon has clearly given him a preference for court assignments. If it's all about money then at least say that is part of the decision process for rankings and court assignments.
